Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the returned sword)
Hoan Kiem Lake or Lake of the Returned Sword was once part of the Red river. Through thousands of years of changes of geography, the lake moved eastward to its present position many miles from the river. Early in the morning one will find people of all ages exersicing, walking, playing badminton, or simply quitely contemplating the beautiful lake in front of them.
